Kick off your college journey with First-Gen Camp, a fun, one-day experience created by first-generation students and staff, for first-generation students! Packed with everything you need to begin your first semester with confidence, you’ll discover the “hidden curriculum” of college, learn tips and strategies for academic success, connect with campus resources, and hear real advice from students who have been in your shoes. Along the way, you’ll make new friends, enjoy interactive activities, and build your first college community. Oh, and of course there’s free food! Come ready to learn, laugh, connect, and leave feeling excited and prepared for your first year at UCA.
