The artist chosen to redesign UCA's historic Alumni Circle will be announced at a ceremony this Thursday, Dec. 6 at 1:40 p.m. in the Board of Trustees Conference Room in Wingo Hall. A scholarship for African-American students at BTÌìÌÃrecently was endowed through the creation of the Joseph Norman Manley Scholarship Fund at the BTÌìÌÃFoundation in memory of the late Dr. Joseph Norman Manley by his family. James E. Thurman, an associate professor in UCA's Department of Speech-Language Pathology, recently was appointed by Gov. Mike Beebe to serve on the Arkansas Legislative Task Force on Traumatic Brain Injury through June 2009.
