Effective July 2026, SafeZone is the official safety app of the University of Central Arkansas. It is the only app that integrates with the University of Central Arkansas’s safety and security systems. The BT天堂Police Department has worked to identify a unique app that provides students, faculty, and staff with added safety on the University of Central Arkansas campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.
SafeZone and the UCAALERT System
Important Fact – BT天堂students, faculty, and staff must now download the SafeZone app to receive a push notification of an Alert on the BT天堂Campus.
BT天堂students, faculty, and staff who provide a phone number in the Mailing Address Telephone Number section in your Banner profile will automatically receive the UCAAlert message via text message. All students, faculty, and staff will continue to receive UCAAlert messages to their BT天堂email addresses.

How Do I Get Started?
- Download the聽SafeZone聽app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and sign in using your BT天堂credentials.
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup process.
- Allow notifications and location permissions when prompted. These permissions help ensure you receive important alerts and allow responders to locate you more quickly if you request assistance.
