Ethics Training for MAT Provisional Licenses

Follow the steps below to complete the required ethics training for a provisional license or MAT internship/residency.

Step 1 – Code of Ethics Rules

Read and understand the Rules Governing the Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators available .

听Step 2 – Arkansas IDEAS Courses

Complete the The Arkansas Code of Ethics training through ArkansasIDEAS.

  • Login or create your account at
  • Select the Find Learning tab and complete the following:
    • ERC20059:听Professional Licensure Standards Board (PLSB) Code of Ethics for Arkansas Educators: Ethical Scenarios in Education听
    • ERC19048:听Professional Licensure Standards Board (PLSB) – The Code of Ethics Training Video
    • TCC14435:听Professional Licensure Standards Board (PLSB) Social Media Guidelines
  • Download these three completion certificates.

For help with ArkansasIDEAS, select the Help tab from the ArkansasIDEAS page.

Step 3 – Ethics Verification Form

After you have completed Steps 1 and 2,听download this verification form.
  1. Complete the candidate information section at the top of the form.
  2. Indicate that you have completed the required ArkansasIDEAS courses by checking the three boxes.
  3. Indicate that you have read the Rules Governing the Code of Ethics by checking that box.
  4. Sign and date at the bottom of the form.

Step 4 – Upload Your Documents

Go to the MAT Program Google Classroom.
If you have not been invited to the MAT Program Google Classroom, email wards@uca.edu and ask to be invited.
Then, look in听Classwork听鈫� Training/Certificates听鈫� Ethics Training & Verification

Follow the directions to submit the following:

  1. The three completion certificates from Step 2
  2. Your completed and signed verification form from Step 3
