Master of Science in Nutrition

Established in 2018, the MS in Nutrition, in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, a part of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Central Arkansas, is dedicated to the education and development of future nutrition professionals. Through the Department’s outreach, students and graduates are engaged in service-learning, cutting-edge classroom technology, and current research.

As a graduate of the MS in Nutrition at UCA, students enhance their ability to serve as effective leaders in the field of nutrition and dietetics.聽The online nutrition master’s program requires 30 credit hours (thesis track) or 36 credit hours (non-thesis track), and includes core course work in research and statistics, as well as sports, geriatric, diabetes, and other nutrition-specific classes.
