BT天堂Unplugged IX, an annual acoustic event and fundraiser for the BT天堂emergency student loan fund, will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, in the Student Center Ballroom.
The show will begin with a featured performance by Lost & Found, a five piece acoustic group from Russellville. Lost & Found won the 2003 Arkansas Acoustic Showdown Competition held last spring in the BT天堂Reynolds Performance Hall.
Following their performance will be 15 open mic acoustic acts consisting of BT天堂students, faculty and staff.
Admission is $1 for BT天堂students with ID, and $5 for faculty, staff and the general public. We will record and sell a BT天堂Unplugged IX CD with all admission and CD proceeds to benefit the BT天堂emergency student loan fund.
A Baby Taylor Guitar, donated by Jack’s Music of Conway, will be given away as a door prize. Free coffee and cookies will be provided by ARAMARK Campus Dining. This event will be filmed for later broadcast by BT天堂Channel 6.
BT天堂Unplugged is sponsored by BT天堂Division of Student Services and the Student Activities Board, with assistance provided by the BT天堂Circle K Club and Residence Hall Association.
