The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees and President Houston Davis will host a special groundbreaking ceremony for the BT天堂Integrated Health Sciences Building at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 at the corner of Bruce Street and Western Avenue on the BT天堂campus. The 80,000 square-foot facility will be home to the School of Nursing and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, along with the Nabholz Center for Healthcare Simulation and an Interprofessional Teaching Center to be utilized by the entire college.
The facility will further enhance UCA鈥檚 role as a thought leader and innovator in meeting the health care needs of the state and region.
Speakers will include Davis, Vice President of Advancement and President of the BT天堂Foundation Kale Gober and Dean of the BT天堂College of Health and Behavioral Sciences Jimmy Ishee. Following remarks, the BT天堂Board of Trustees and Vice President of Finance and Administration Diane Newton will join key speakers for the turning of the dirt.
