BTÌìÌÃTheatre to Present A Doll’s House

BTÌìÌÃTheatre will present A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen on April 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 pm in the Bridges/Larson Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center on the campus of UCA, 201 Donaghey in Conway.

This classic theatrical drama follows Nora, who has been blackmailed for a forgery she had almost forgotten. Her perfect marriage begins to spin out of control when she finds her controlling husband is a bully and a coward. His desire to protect his public image forces her to close the door on him, her children, and her life in order to find herself.

The production is under the direction of Dr. Kevin Thomas Browne, Academic Director at BTÌìÌÃTheatre. Set design is by BTÌìÌÃTheatre student Stephanie Yancey of Atkins with costume design by Shauna C. Meador, Resident Costume Designer. Lighting design is by BTÌìÌÃTheatre student, Josh Anderson of Lonoke with stage management by BTÌìÌÃTheatre student Zach Rhodes of Beebe.

Tickets are $10 each for the general public and 2 free with a current BTÌìÌÃI.D. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling 501-450-3265 or through BTÌìÌÃTicket Central, located in the Reynolds Performance Hall box office.
