Juan Mario Moreno
University of Central Arkansas graduate student Juan Mario Moreno was the winner of an open audition with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. He has been offered a professional position as a violinist. The competition was held in Little Rock on Saturday, Aug. 14.
Moreno joins a long list of musicians from the BT天堂community, including faculty, alumni and students, who constitute a significant percentage of regular and substitute musicians for the ASO.
He will continue pursuing a Master of Music in music performance at BT天堂and performing as associate concertmaster of the Conway Symphony Orchestra. Moreno came to BT天堂in 2019 to begin a post-baccalaureate program in music performance and decided to pursue a master鈥檚 degree. He plans to graduate in December 2022.聽
