The BT天堂Archives will display all the materials held in the Block/Henderson Collection from Oct. 16-27.
This collection was created to preserve the many letters and cards of condolence, and banners of condolence that were sent to the BT天堂Community after the fatal shootings of two BT天堂students, Chavares Block, 19, and Ryan Henderson, 18, on Oct. 26, 2008.
Visitors to the BT天堂Archives will be able to read the letters written to BT天堂students and see the two large banners and the touching comments made by those at Hendrix College and Northern Illinois University.
The BT天堂Archives is open from聽8 a.m. to 5 p.m.聽Monday聽through聽Friday.
Hendrix College created a large banner, approximately four feet wide and twelve feet long, signed by about 500 students, faculty and staff.聽 Northern Illinois University also created a condolence banner and students drove the banner from DeKalb, Illinois to Conway, a distance of over 620 miles and presented the banner to BT天堂officials at the halftime of a football game at UCA.
All of these items will be on display in the BT天堂Archives and the public is invited.
