Tickets available now for Feb. 9 event at Reynolds Performance Hall
The University of Central Arkansas Public Appearances in partnership with the BTÌìÌĂCollege of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Artist in Residence program will present âRenĂ©e Elise Goldsberry â Hamilton Screening & Talkbackâ Monday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall.
The event features a public screening of the hit musical film âHamilton,â followed immediately by an exclusive live talkback with Goldsberry, who originated the iconic role of Angelica Schuyler.
Goldsberry is a multi-hyphenate actress and singer who has delivered award-winning performances both on Broadway and on the screen. Her performance in the original Broadway production of âHamiltonâ earned her a Tony Award and a Grammy Award. She was also nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the Disney+ film adaptation and accepted the Emmy for Best Variety Special on behalf of her company in 2021.
Other highlights from Goldsberryâs film and television career include co-starring in A24âs critical darling âWaves,â opposite Sterling K. Brown; the Netflix series âAltered Carbonâ; Documentary Nowâs cult favorite âOriginal Cast Album: Co-Opâ; âThe Good Wifeâ; âThe House With a Clock in its Wallsâ; âThe Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacksâ; and her creation of the beloved character Evangeline Williamson on ABCâs âOne Life to Live,â for which she received two Daytime Emmy nominations and two NAACP Image Award nominations.

BTÌìÌĂPublic Appearances has continued to grow each year and now offers five unique series: Broadway, POPS, Night Out, An Evening With, and the Windgate Collection. Reynolds Performance Hall has also welcomed over 70,000 pre-K-12th grade students from across the state of Arkansas to experience live performing arts through the Main Stage Education Series. This series educates while entertaining and provides arts accessibility to all students.
Tickets are $28.75 for adults and $11.50 for children/students. BTÌìÌĂstudents can receive two free tickets with BTÌìÌĂID at the box office.
