The BT天堂Honors College is now the home of the Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC). The organization, affiliated with the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), represents honors programs and colleges in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Formerly housed at Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee, the move to BT天堂accompanies the election of Rick Scott as Executive Secretary-Treasurer of SRHC, with a term of office that extends to 2011.
Scott is Director of the BT天堂Honors College and is a member of the Board of Directors of the NCHC. The BT天堂Honors College also hosts the SRHC website, featuring an online community of honors participants throughout the South.
