Faculty, staff, and students across campus are invited to attend and participate in the HER Conference: Health Education Reimagined on April 10, 2027. Spearheaded by Dr. Brittany Allman-Tucker and expanding on an annual campus women’s health fair, this event delivers evidence-based science and actionable takeaways to community members, students, and health professionals.
The conference will feature research talks, interactive workshops, fitness classes, and student showcase sessions across key topic areas, including: Aging and women’s health; Exercise and nutrition interventions; Pregnancy, postpartum, and maternal health; General health, wellness, and performance.
CHBS Faculty Call for Student Presentation Tracks
We invite CHBS faculty to partner with us in showcasing student work and high-impact learning experiences across our college. Student projects do not need to be strictly focused on women’s health: broadly related health, wellness, and human performance topics are strongly encouraged!
We are seeking faculty participation for two distinct student presentation tracks:
Course-Based & Experiential Learning Projects
If you teach a course involving project-based, experiential, or hands-on learning, we want to feature your students! Presentation formats can be customized to fit your syllabus (e.g., poster sessions, rapid-fire oral presentations, or interactive displays).
Independent Student Research
Students engaged in faculty-mentored research are invited to present in a traditional conference setting involving abstract submission, peer review, and formal presentation selections. Awards will be presented for top student presentations.
How to Get Involved
