What is ACIREMA?
Want to know what it feels like to travel to or be in a foreign country? ACIREMA is an international education simulation designed to provide participants with insight, understanding, and perspective on the journey to study abroad in a different country.
Last year, the Center for Global Learning and Engagement (CLGE) debuted its ACIREMA simulation experience; we invite you to register for this year’s event and share it with your BTÌìÌÃpeers (students, faculty, professional staff, student workers, administrators, and beyond). What a great way to learn about culture and the study abroad experience, and to make connections in the shoes of an international student!
For the first hour, participants will assume the role of an incoming international student and be asked to navigate the necessary offices, processes, and protocols to begin studying at UCA. Following the role-play, participants will learn from fellow students who are studying at BTÌìÌÃfrom a different country and have represented BTÌìÌÃwhile studying internationally. This event marks the beginning of UCA’s International Education Month this November!
Required Registration link. Deadline, October 30th.
