The Sugar Bears take on West Georgia in ASUN action on Wednesday. Tip is set for 6:30 PM in the Farris Center. Spin the wheel in the lobby for a prize – if you’re lucky! Test your knowledge with trivia in-game. Anything goes on Wild Card Wednesday!

Support the BTÌìÌÃStudent-Athlete Advisory Committee and Samaritan’s Feet! Sunday at Stoby’s from 8 AM to 1 PM. You can purchase tickets at the door or ahead of time from a student-athlete. Tickets will also be sold at basketball games on 1/21 (6:30 PM) and 1/24 (1 PM) in the Farris Center.

Bear CLAWS recipients are recognized during meetings of the University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees. CLAWS stands for Celebrating the Lofty Achievements of our Wonderful Students and honors individuals or groups who exemplify excellence and leadership.

BTÌìÌÃTorreyson Library will host Crafty Hour every Tuesday, 1pm-3pm from Tuesday, January 27 through Tuesday, April 21. Crafty Hour features Lego, card games, coloring pages, Lite-Brite and more. All are welcome and encouraged to join us!

Starting February 1, Travis Johnson will assume the role of Assistant Dean of Students in the Dean of Students Office. In his current role as Assistant Director in OSAC, Travis has proven to be an amazing advocate for students as well as an outstanding BTÌìÌÃcommunity member. He has been serving the Dean of Students Office as an administrative hearing panelist for student conduct, an Academic Integrity and Discipline Committee member, and a campus-partner for numerous programs. Travis will bring with him a wealth of institutional knowledge and a love for BTÌìÌÃthat will be beneficial for supporting students and fostering collaborations.

BTÌìÌÃPublic Appearances is proud to announce the promotion of Rosalyn Williams, former events manager, to director of patron services. Rosalyn will be responsible for both the Reynolds Performance Hall and Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts box offices including event set up and ticketing, daily reporting, student staffing, Mainstage Education sales, patron and donor relations, and more.
Rosalyn has been a dedicated staff member since February 2022 for BTÌìÌÃPublic Appearances in her events manager role. We look forward to her being in this new position.
