- This summer, travel back in time 500 years to Renaissance Europe with the Renaissance Kids Bear Camp! The Renaissance was a time of innovation, including the invention of mechanical clocks and the telescope, (which led to our understanding of how the solar system works). In art and literature, the age saw the development of perspective drawing, the use of shadows in painting, and the invention of the printing press, which made books and information more accessible. This was also an era of great voyages of exploration and discovery. Through engaging activities led by expert BTÌìÌÃfaculty and experienced BTÌìÌÃstudent counselors, children will take a week’s worth of journeys through time and space to explore the history, theater, music, art, technology, science, food, and sports & leisure of the Renaissance. Spark your child’s imagination, curiosity, and knowledge with this interactive, formative, and informative week of activities!

Your children will receive instruction from master teachers, receive one-on-one attention, and experience the fun of making music with a group! New this summer – a choir class in the afternoon for those who would like to develop their vocal skills!
