BTÌìÌÃ

BTÌìÌÃPathways to Study Accounting (pre-Bachelor’s)

For learners who have not yet earned a Bachelor’s degree, BTÌìÌÃoffers two ways to study accounting.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA-Acct)

Choose this option if you want to be a Certified Public Accountant, work in any area of accounting, or maybe earn a future Master’s in Accountancy.

Technical Certificate in Accounting (TCA)

Choose this option for the fastest path to entry-level accounting. After completing the TCA, you can continue your studies to complete the BBA and maybe a Master’s degree in the future.

  • Available in-person or fully-online.
  • 8 Accounting classes (plus college algebra if you haven’t already had it). Take a look at the coursework for TCA.
  • If you have college coursework already, a lot of it may transfer. Check out our Transfer Course Equivalency Guide or contact BTÌìÌÃTransfer Services.
  • Visit Admissions to apply. Fully-online students should start at BTÌìÌÃOnline. Be sure to select “degree-seeking” with the certificate and major in accounting.
  • The TCA does not make you eligible to become a CPA, but it can be a stepping stone to CPA eligibility.
