Sam Holtkamp is the Administrative Specialist III at the University of Central Arkansas for the Department of Music. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music Education from Arkansas Tech University.
While at ATU, Holtkamp published undergraduate ethnomusicological research on ancient Egyptian wind instruments, and has been cited by various sources, including Wikipedia. Holtkamp was a member of Arkansas Tech Choir’s student leadership team, and helped to reinstate Arkansas Tech’s ACDA Student Chapter
After graduating from ATU, Holtkamp taught Choir to grades 7-12 at Beebe School District. Under his direction, Beebe choirs received聽multiple Superior awards at State Festival, and numerous individuals were invited to attend the Arkansas All-State Conference and the 2026 SWACDA Conference to perform. Holtkamp has also directed and starred in multiple musicals, the most recent being a Searcy, AR production of ‘Smoke on the Mountain.’
聽Holtkamp resides in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his partner, Gabriella; two cats named Winston and Scout, and their dog Turnip.
