Dr. Emre Celebi, Professor and Chair of Computer Science and Engineering, has been named editor-in-chief of the Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI), with his term beginning January 1, 2027. JEI is one of the oldest electronic imaging journals, dating back to 1992, and is co-published by SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers) and IS&T (Society for Imaging Science and Technology).
