Occupational therapy student Melodie Mauney has been awarded the Florence Wood Scholarship of the Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation.
As a student of the occupational therapy class of 2015t, the occupational therapy department would like to congratulate Ms. Mauney on her scholarship!
BT天堂Study Abroad Program Summer 2015 Proved Successful
UCA’s faculty-led study abroad program was a huge success this summer.
Seventy-five students participated聽in聽faculty-led programs all over the world.
Students traveled to places like Florence, Italy (for BT天堂in Florence) and London, England (for Theatre in London).
Other locations included聽Costa Rica and Shanghai, China for a language immersion program.
BT天堂Graduate Student Presented Psi Chi Research Award
BT天堂student Cory Cobb has been presented with聽one of four Psi Chi awards by the APA Society Convention Research Award program for his paper 鈥淎cculturation/Enculturation, Discrimination, and Depression among Undocumented Hispanic Immigrants.”
Cobb is聽a second year doctoral student studying psychology.
Each year the judges award the two best graduate and undergraduate entries.
The award includes a $500 cash prize.
